The Saudi National Day celebrations will include fireworks for the first time in Riyadh.
Riyadh Municipality has organised fireworks to light up the Riyadh night skies on Monday, 23 September. The pyrotechnics show will take place simultaneously at five different locations in Riyadh.
The fireworks are slated to begin at 9 pm in the evening and will last for about 15 minutes. The locations of the fireworks shows are:
King Fahd International Stadium
Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium
Prince Sultan University
Near the suspension bridge west of Riyadh
King Abdul Aziz Manakh Park
Safety measures are being adopted while transporting, storing, and handling the fireworks shells. The firework launch sites will be cordoned off to ensure safety of the public. Furthermore, Civil Defence forces and the Red Crescent Society teams will also be present at all fireworks facilities.
